1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of the Chota Box website, mobile application, and related services operated by Susritha Enterprises ("Chota Box", "we", "us", or "our").
By accessing the platform, creating an account, placing an order, registering as a seller, or registering as a delivery partner, you agree to the terms applicable to your use of the service.
If you do not agree, please do not use the relevant services.
2. Nature of the Platform
Chota Box facilitates the discovery and ordering of home-style food and other listed products from eligible sellers and coordinates delivery through available delivery arrangements.
Depending on the transaction, the seller may be responsible for preparing and supplying the food or product, while Chota Box may provide technology, order management, payment coordination, and delivery facilitation.
The identity of the seller and the applicable transaction details should be shown to customers where required by law.
3. Eligibility and Accounts
Users must provide accurate information and maintain the confidentiality of their account credentials.
You must promptly notify Chota Box if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
You are responsible for activities carried out through your account, subject to applicable law. Chota Box may restrict or suspend access when reasonably necessary to address suspected fraud, security risks, misuse, or legal non-compliance.
4. Product Listings and Availability
Products, prices, photographs, ingredients, portion sizes, availability, and delivery slots are displayed according to information supplied by sellers and platform availability.
Availability may change. A seller or Chota Box may need to decline or cancel an order if a product becomes unavailable, subject to the applicable cancellation and refund rules.
Product photographs are illustrative where indicated. Actual presentation may vary reasonably, but products must not be materially misrepresented.
5. Orders and Scheduled Delivery
Customers must select an available product, delivery address, and delivery slot where applicable.
Orders are subject to payment authorisation, seller acceptance where required, product availability, and service-area coverage.
Chota Box may offer scheduled slots such as:
• Breakfast: 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
• Lunch: 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
• Snacks: 3.00PM to 7.00 PM
• Dinner: 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
The slots displayed at checkout take precedence for a specific order. Order cut-off times, preparation times, and availability may vary by seller and location.
An order confirmation does not guarantee an exact delivery minute unless explicitly promised.
6. Prices and Payments
Prices, applicable delivery charges, platform fees, taxes, discounts, and other charges will be displayed where applicable before order placement.
Payments must be made through the payment methods enabled on the platform. Unless expressly enabled and confirmed, cash on delivery is not available.
Payment processing may be provided by third-party payment service providers. Their applicable terms may also apply.
7. Cancellations, Refunds, and Complaints
Order cancellations, refunds, replacements, and order-issue resolution are governed by the published Refund & Cancellation Policy and applicable consumer law.
Nothing in these Terms removes a consumer's statutory rights or restricts remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.
8. Subscriptions
Subscription plans, where offered, may have specific terms concerning duration, frequency, payment, pause or skip requests, changes, cancellations, and refunds.
The terms shown when purchasing a subscription will apply alongside these Terms and the Subscription Policy.
9. Seller Responsibilities
Sellers are responsible for the accuracy of their listings, lawful operation of their businesses, applicable licences, food safety, hygiene, packaging, and fulfilment obligations.
Chota Box may review seller documentation and listings and may suspend access in response to serious safety concerns, legal violations, or breaches of seller terms.
10. Delivery Partners
Delivery partners must comply with applicable traffic laws, safety requirements, privacy obligations, delivery instructions, and the relevant delivery partner agreement.
Delivery estimates may be affected by traffic, weather, seller preparation, customer availability, and other circumstances.
11. User Conduct
Users must not:
• Use the platform for unlawful or fraudulent purposes.
• Submit false identity, payment, or delivery information.
• Abuse, threaten, or harass sellers, riders, customers, or support staff.
• Manipulate promotions, reviews, referrals, or order records.
• Interfere with platform security or attempt unauthorised access.
• Misuse another person's account or personal information.
12. Intellectual Property
Platform names, logos, designs, software, and original content are owned by or licensed to their respective rights holders.
You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit protected platform content without permission, except as permitted by law.
13. Third-Party Services
Third-party payment, mapping, communication, hosting, and delivery services may be used to support platform operations. Their availability and terms may be governed by the relevant third-party providers.
14. Service Availability
We aim to provide a reliable platform but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. Temporary maintenance, technical failures, network issues, or circumstances beyond reasonable control may affect availability.
15. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Chota Box is not responsible for losses arising from circumstances outside its reasonable control or from inaccurate information independently supplied by users or sellers.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, negligence where exclusion is prohibited, statutory consumer rights, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
16. Suspension and Termination
We may restrict or terminate access for material breaches, fraudulent activity, serious safety risks, or legal requirements. Where appropriate, users may contact support to seek clarification or review.
17. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The revised version will be published with an updated effective date. Material changes will be communicated where required by law.
18. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes will be handled by the courts or other forums having jurisdiction under applicable law.
